Leading developer and homebuilder Empire East Land Holdings, Inc., through the Tanging Yaman Foundation, has donated packs of relief goods to affected communities of Typhoon Odette.
Representatives from the Marketing Department of Empire East delivered donations on Wednesday on behalf of the sales teams who made this feat possible.
Under Empire East Cares, the company’s official pocket Corporate Social Responsibility arm, Empire East salesforce initiated Regalo ng Pasko, a raffle-for-a-cause held during the company’s Christmas party last December 2021.
Proceeds from the fundraising event were utilized to purchase food packs for Typhoon Odette survivors.
Consisting of canned goods, hygiene products, bags of rice, liters of potable water, face masks, and alcohol, the relief items were successfully delivered to Tanging Yaman Foundation’s headquarters on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

“When we heard about the news on the aftermath of Typhoon Odette, it was a no-brainer for us to turn our Christmas celebration into a more meaningful way to help our kababayans who were devastated by the said typhoon. I am very pleased and grateful for our Sales teams who contributed to this initiative,” said Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.
“Our hearts go out to the displaced families of Typhoon Odette, and we hope that we were able to aid in the recovery of the affected communities through our humble efforts,” Atty. Yu continued.
Relief items are bound to Surigao, Siargao, and Cebu with the help of Tanging Yaman Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on helping Filipinos and channeling resources for the benefit of the Filipino youth, the environment, and culture, which continuously distributes donations to neighboring communities.
Tanging Yaman Foundation has partnered with the Philippine Coast Guard and other government agencies in transporting donations to affected areas and sitios.
